Emira from Lotus is a two-seater sports car whose name means a commander or a leader. It is the last Lotus car with an internal combustion engine. All future cars after Emira will be all-electric. The New Lotus Emira
The Lotus Emira is available in two trim levels – Base and First Edition. Engines
Buyers can choose from two engine options for the new Lotus Emira. The base engine I4 is a 2.0-liter, turbocharged, inline, 4-cylinder gasoline engine tuned by Mercedes AMG, producing 360 horsepower and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. 0 to 60 mph acceleration is at 4.4 seconds.
The alternate engine option is a Toyota-sourced 3.5-liter supercharged V6 gasoline engine producing 400 horsepower and 317 lb. feet of torque with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. 0 to 60 mph acceleration is at 4.2 seconds.
The hydraulic power assist system powers the car rather than an electric motor in sports cars. The engine runs on premium unleaded fuel with a fuel economy of 17/26 MPG for city/highway.
Exterior
The Emira’s style is heavily influenced by Evija, with a stunning design that ensures grip and control in all-weather and terrain conditions. Some of the salient exterior features of Emira’s exterior include:
